We are growing our international operations in Europe and Asia and therefore looking for established Head of Trade Desk to manage a team of traders.
Location: Europe (preferably Riga, Latvia)
Reporting to: COO
Direct reports: TradeDesk team (5 pax)
JOB PURPOSE:
- Manage the trading desk responsible for voice and OTC orders execution and active risk management in an electronic trading environment.
Requirements
Key tasks:
- Execute clients orders in OTC names (bonds, mainly).
- Actively monitor clients’ exposure against risk metrics/limits and close out positions when needed.
- Global position optimization and risk management.
- Perform regular trading routines related to contacts expiration/execution/rollover within the client mandate.
- Manage participation in stock IPOs and bond auctions.
Qualifications and experience:
- 7 + years of flow trading and/or portfolio management/strategy execution experience.
- Team management experience.
- Good knowledge of European trading regulations.
- Decent mathematical background (relevant technical university degree is an advantage).
- Advanced technology/data analysis skills (VBA, Python, SQL, BI tools, etc.)
