Job Description
We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:
Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .Net, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

WHAT YOU`LL DO:
Requirement Analysis and Solution Design mainly for Data base integration works and specific business workflow related to particular regulatory requirements:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, goals, and constraints.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluating different technical options.
- Create a solution architecture that meets the business needs, including defining system components, interfaces, and data flow.
Technology selection amp; integration based on pre-established technical solutions: AWS amp; on-premise tools (virtualized)
- Assess and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools that align with the project requirements.
- Design the integration of various systems, ensuring compatibility, data consistency, and smooth communication between components.
- Define standards and best practices for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
System modelling and documentation for designed solution:
- Create architectural diagrams, system models, and technical documentation to communicate the design and structure of the solution.
- Document key decisions, assumptions, and rationale behind the chosen architectural approach.
- Ensure that the documentation is clear, comprehensive, and accessible to the development team and other stakeholders.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Experience with integrations (synchronous, asynchronous, direct DB connection)
Workflow development skills (Java or some low-code BPM solution)
Experience designing solutions both on-prem virtualized as well as AWS infra
Experience with DWHs would be appreciated
SQL Server (potentially PostgreSQL
Java
Integration (APIs, ESB, JMS)
General knowledge of AWS
Knowledge of Containers amp; Microservices
Experience with BPM/workflows (BONUS)
