Financial Accountant
EXANTE, Latvia

• Collection and analysis of financial information and preparation of accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner
• Accrual calculations
• Participation in the preparation of financial statements and in primary accounting activities
• Assistance in internal and external Audit process
• Statutory and Regulatory reporting preparation and submission in different jurisdictions
• Payroll preparation and submissions
• Assessment of existing accounting processes and development of recommendations for process improvement
• Support of other ad hoc requests by Management

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Accounting function.
• Proven experience in reporting to financial industry Regulatory bodies (MFSA, FCA, CYSEC or other)
• Proven experience reporting to internal auditors, external auditors and 3th parties.
• Good knowledge of the Tax system worldwide.
• Deep understanding of IFRS standards.
• Sound understanding of Financial instruments (Bonds, Futures, Options etc)
• Computer skills at an advanced user level (MS Office)
• Excellent command of English
• Hardworking amp; dedicated to results personality
• MS Dynamics/Navision knowledge will be considered as advantage
• ACCA certificates will be considered as advantage
