We are growing our international operations in Europe and Asia and therefore looking for an established Trade desk Specialist.
Location: Latvia/Russia
Job purpose:
- Provide trading and system support to investment professionals
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted electronic order execution
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate execution with traders and monitor existing positions
- Communicate with counterparties and IT team to resolve any trading discrepancies
- Swiftly and carefully resolve incoming trading errors
- Provide timely and professional trading, techincal and operational communication to clients
- Monitor and coordinate order flow to ensure the best execution
- Work closely with counterparty relationship managers to onboard and maintain close working relationships with existing counterparties
- Work closely with internal compliance to ensure the best trading controls in ever changing market
SKILLS amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of financial Instruments: derivatives, equities, equity related securities and FX
- 1-3 years experience in related position (dealing desk, operations, analyst, etc.)
- Experience working with trading platforms and other financial software
- Ability to work under pressure and perform in many roles in an ever changing business.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is essential as well as multi-tasking.
- Computer literate, numerate, and comfortable handling varied and complex data sets
- Fluent English (oral and writing), Russian is a plus
Preferred:
- Experience in trading
- Understanding of financial accounting
- Experience in defining requirements for software solutions
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Physics, Math, Finance, etc.).
